I teach comics, American lit, and popular culture at Ohio State. I have written and edited a few books, including PROJECTIONS: COMICS AND THE HISTORY OF 21st-CENTURY STORYTELLING. I am also editor of INKS: THE JOURNAL OF THE COMICS STUDIES SOCIETY. I am currently working on a book about comics, illness and time called PATIENT TIME.
